New Church of Christ ministry bishops

CHAMBERSBURG - Randy Atherton and Caroline McLean, both of Chambersburg, on June 2 were ordained bishop and bishop-elect, respectively, in Atlanta, Ga., by Breaking Through Barriers Fellowship International, a ministry operated through Church of Christ.

Atherton, pastor of Open Air Ministry, Chambersburg, is seeking other spiritual leaders to get involved with the Christian Fellowship.

McLean, senior pastor of Second Chance Ministry Church, Chambersburg, on May 29 was also recently elected president of the Chambersburg Ministerium, a cooperative of a number of Chambersburg area Christian churches.
