With the start of fall sports season right around the corner, now is a good time to tell everyone about some exciting new online features we have lined up.
In addition to our widely popular DelcoFootball.com blog, we have introduced a website dedicated to all other sports aptly called ?Delco High School Sports,? at DelcoHSsports.wordpress.com. So make sure to bookmark it or do what most lazy web browsers do ? punch ?Delco sports? into a Google search and scroll down until you find the link.
I bet you?re asking, ?What can we expect?? Well, Delco H.S. Sports will have player profiles, interviews, stats, records and random tidbits from our beat writers. There?s actually a section on the site where you can find out who is covering your sport. Note: Despite his claims otherwise on Twitter, Matt Chandik does not cover every high school sport in the county ... but, yes, he is from Canada.
If you?re a diehard Delco football fan, we?ve got neat stuff going on at this moment. In anticipation of our annual season preview guide (in newspapers Thursday, Aug. 30), we?ve got some sneak peeks inside training camp at Ridley and Interboro, with more to come. We?ll also have preseason rankings, predictions and other interesting stuff.
